Machine Applique
Machine applique may sound intimidating to some, but once you get the hang of it, you'll wonder what you were ever worried about!  I used to think that raw-edge fusible applique was all I would ever use.  I still do use it for the appropriate projects, but sometimes I want a different look to my quilts.  This technique gives me just the right look when I want my quilt to look more like needle-turn applique.  The method I am showing here is basically this...
