I began quilting in 2004. I started by making a replica of a quilt that I had when I was little and I was immediately hooked.
I enjoy both traditional and art quilts and love to try everything! There are so many ideas in my head and so many fabrics -- I'll never be able to complete everything I dream of!
I enjoy working by machine and was thrilled when Dave surprised me with a Bernina 440QEE in the summer of 2007. It makes quilting seem so effortless and I am very thankful for the gift.
Much of what I've learned has been from television and the internet. (I've never taken a class -- no time!) I have learned a lot by being a member of a great website hosted by Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims called The Quilt Show. I have made some dear quilting friends there.
